Experiment and play with color-ways for printing and dyeing fabric. Learn how to mix dyes and inks to achieve specific colors, values, and saturation of dyes and inks. This workshop is focused on color theory, creating recipes and testing how different fabrics affect your color. No experience necessary All levels welcome.

During this workshop, you will paint with resists onto silk pocket squares, followed by painting with dyes. This is a great way to get color and designs onto fabric fast and efficiently. Think of stained glass. You will be provided with two silk pocket squares. If you'd like to paint onto something else please make sure it is 100% silk. No experience necessary All levels welcome
